Congrats are in order for Travis Scott and his girlfriend Kylie Jenner. The couple have finally revealed that they recently welcomed their daughter into the world on Feb. 1. According to XXL, the newborn weighed in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces.

On Sunday (Feb. 4), Kylie Jenner went on her Instagram page to explain why she kept her pregnancy and the birth of her baby such a secret from her fans.

"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all of my journeys," she wrote. "My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world."

"I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness," she continued. "Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering and life changing experience I've had in my entire life and I'm actually going to miss it."

"My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn't wait to share this blessing. I've never felt love and happiness Like this I could burst! Thank you for understanding," she concluded.

Meanwhile, Travis Scott went on his Twitter account to announce that his baby daughter has arrived, tweeting, "2.1.18. 4 ever. New rager in town!!!" and adding, "May I supply the rage on this next album. My conscience is on fright night at six flags."

According to E! News, Travis, Kylie's mom, Kris Jenner, sister Kim Kardashian and friend Jordyn Woods were at the hospital at the time of the birth. An insider said the proud dad was showing the baby off to his crew. "He seems so happy," said the source.

The source also added that despite her nervousness, Kylie is "so excited to finally be a mom and have the baby in her arms."
