Tupac Memorabilia Still Being Auctioned Despite Lawsuit from Afeni Shakur’s Estate
Despite pending lawsuits from the estate of Afeni Shakur, the sale of Tupac's possessions continues.
Black Heritage Auction is selling Pac's handwritten lyrics and jewelry on the day that he's set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, TMZ reports. The 39 items are expected to sale for seven figures, given their start points. Among the items for sale are a gold and diamond medallion, the All Eyez On Me tracklist, a New York Prisoner ID card, a personal signed Koran, and a Dolce & Gabbana wool jacket.
A company rep told TMZ they never reached out to Afeni's estate because they felt the items were lawfully obtained, which is obviously a point of contention for the estate, as they want to cease the sale.
