If you did not know Major League Baseball runs an incredibly tight ship.

A crowd can definitely get rowdy in support of their favorite team. In extreme situations, fans have stormed the field.

However, what happens when kids do it?

Why Were Two Kids Taken Away In Handcuffs At Comerica Park?

This past weekend, two children stormed the baseball field during the Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins game.

The game was interesting, to say the least. Even though the Detroit Tigers were able to secure a home run, thanks to Javier Baez, the team, unfortunately, lost 9 to 3.

However, Comerica Park fans will not remember the loss. They will remember the little kids who were seen running onto the field about halfway through the game.

As you can imagine, Comerica Park security jumped into action.

While many people believed that it might have been a drunk person, when people realized it was two young children, they were confused about what happened next.

For a while, the two children were able to outrun the security. I won't lie, it was kind of funny to watch.

Eventually, the two kids were caught by security, placed in handcuffs, and escorted off the field. Typically, people are just taken off the field but these kids were escorted out in handcuffs, which seems like overkill to me! If someone storms the field at a Major League Baseball game, they are typically charged up to a $5,000 fine. I would hope that these kids do not have to pay that and simply had to experience a hard lesson.

Do you think that Comerica Park did too much with these kids?
