Underwater Pumpkin Carving Is A Thing You Can Watch In West MI
This is something new, unusual and totally has my attention. The Muskegon County Sheriff Dive Team posted an event on Facebook called 2018 Underwater Pumpkin Carving.
What is it exactly? Well pretty much just what the basic title calls it. The dive team is going to suit up and go underwater to see who can carve a pumpkin better… underwater! The best part is, they’re inviting the public out to come watch and also check out the other equipment the dive teams use on search and rescues. They’ll have the equipment on display during the event.
The event is going on Sunday, October 21st, starting at 2 pm at the USS Silversides Submarine Museum at 1346 Bluff St, Muskegon.
These guys have a pretty serious job, and this summer has been a busy one along Lake Michigan, so it will be fun to celebrate the sheriff’s dive team and see how easy… or not so easy it is to carve a pumpkin underwater.
