Warning Issued for Michigan Fans Attending ‘Wicked’ in Theaters
Happy Wicked week!
With all of the magical excitement in the air, you are most likely eagerly waiting for when you get to see "Wicked" in theaters.
Based on Gregory Maguire's bestselling book and the critically acclaimed Broadway musical, Wicked, the film version stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Ariana Grande as Glinda, the Good Witch.
The story follows the origin story of the Wicked Witch before the original "Wizard of Oz."
What's The Warning For All Wicked Fans?
Many people may know this warning since AMC Theaters has already made it known.
All Michigan "Wicked" fans are warned about not singing along with the movie. "Singing" during the movie violates the theater's "no talking" policy.
While I understand the uncontrollable urge to belt "Defying Gravity" or "Wizard and I" for the new fans of "Wicked," it could be distracting.
Moviegoers came to see Ariana Grande and Cynthia Ervio, not you on the silver screen.
So, remember that other guests want the full experience during the movie's theater run.
Whenever "Wicked" is available to stream, you can belt your little heart away to all of your favorite "Wicked" classics. I know I will.
