Born on January 17th, 1962 in Detroit, Daniel Gilbert is the co-founder and majority owner of Rocket Mortgage. Besides Rocket Mortgage, he is also the founder of Rock Ventures and the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School.
