Michigan is the home to many celebrities of all sorts. We've brought the world some of the most famous musicians, actors and innovators. But when it comes to "the most famous" person, it can be debated as to what makes someone the "most famous".

Is it this person who made the most money? Or maybe the name that comes up most in the average household? Maybe it's the person who brought the most love the mitten state.

You may find yourself thinking "Uh, what?!" but, according to Zippia, Terry Crews tops the list of people most likely to be known from Michigan and honestly when you lay out his amazing accomplishments, it's easy to see why. He started playing football for West Michigan University before moving to the NFL and playing for the Washington Redskins, LA Rams and others. After an impressive NFL run, he turned to acting by playing both Terry in Brooklyn Nine Nine, but also taking a hosting role at America's Got Talent.

Terry has an incredible list of accomplishments under his belt, on top of being Time Magazine's Person of the Year in 2017 for his role in standing up and telling his story during the #MeToo movement's initial start.

Terry makes Michigan proud, and while it's debatable who is the "most famous" in any scenario, Terry has earned the title without a doubt.
