You Can Airbnb In The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Soon In Chicago

Well, you can check this off your life's bucket list if it's on it, spending the night in the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile.  Yes, It's a thing that's happening the first weekend of August in Chicago - which is also the weekend of Lollapalooza, so if you're going, maybe skip the hotel one night for these plump accommodations.

Oscar Mayer posted on Airbnb that they are giving you a chance to "Relish a Stay In The Real Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.  There are 6 Weinermobiles around the country and from August 1st through 3rd, they'll have one parked in the Chicago area for you to rent for a night.  Yes, you can only rent it for a night, BUT since the Weiner doesn't have a bathroom - I mean the listing says there's one adjacent (which translates to porta-potty probably) - you probably wouldn't want to spend more than one night there, since you'll likely be at Lolla AND eating hotdogs to your hearts content while in your rented dog.

The post goes on to explain the other things you get while staying in the Weinermobile:

Amenities include a mini fridge stocked with Oscar Mayer hot dogs and all the Chicago-style hot dog essentials, an Oscar Mayer roller grill to take home, an outdoor space for comfortable hot dog eating and a custom Wienermobile art piece by local artist Laura Kiro. And to help you celebrate your love of hot dogs during your visit, each guest also will receive a welcome kit, complete with all the hot dog-inspired accessories you could want after a music-filled, festival day.

The nightly stay is pretty moderately priced for Chicago at $136 a night; although like I said earlier, you're probably using a porta-potty, but you're paying for the unique experience, right?

Obviously with all the info I've given you, you've realized only three reservations are happening that weekend, so if you're interested, you'll need to bookmark the Airbnb listing page, because they'll open reservations on July 24th - and I don't expect this to last too long once the booking starts.
