Besides slaying us all with her performance, Bey was also helping the community at the same time. When Beyoncé announced her world tour, she also shared that she will be donating 1 million in scholarships to colleges along the way. Gratefully, she did just that for a Michigan college!

Renaissance Scholars Program

According to her foundation, BeyGood's website,

"To continue Mrs. Carter's history of support for student education, we introduce the RENAISSANCE Scholars. Education has always been a focus pillar for Mrs. Carter. After announcing her highly anticipated RENAISSANCE World Tour, she committed $1M to support education through the RENAISSANCE Scholars program to impact 10 Colleges/Universities worldwide, where 100 students will receive $10,000 scholarships."
