Lauryn Hill’s Daughter Selah Marley Stuns as a Professional Model [PHOTOS]
If you're a male hip-hop fan of a certain age, there's a good chance that you used to be in love with Lauryn Hill during her Fugees, Miseducation days. These days, however, if you have a teenage son, he's probably in love with her daughter.
At 17-years-old, Selah Marley doesn't only possess her famous mom's natural beauty, she's already making major moves as a fashion model. In fact, she recently walked the runway at Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4 show that took place just a few days ago.
On top of that, the recent high school grad is now a freshman at New York University, so apparently she wants a college degree to fall back on in case the modeling thing doesn't work out.
In addition, the seemingly ambitious teen writes her own songs but admits the expectations for her to follow in her mom's successful footsteps can be overwhelming. Plus, being the granddaughter of Bob Marley probably adds some extra pressure as well.
"I work on songs quite often, but I don't know what it is, part of me can't fully commit," Marley told V Magazine last month. "Part of me is held back by what other people will think of me and the shoes I have to fill ... I'll just have to take my time. Music is my ultimate passion in life. You will definitely hear something form me. I just don't know when."
Elsewhere in that interview, the young renaissance woman shot down rumors that she lives a glitzy life, because she comes from such a famous family.
"People look at me, for example, and think I have this perfect lavish life. That's it's lit all the time, when that's not true at all," she explained.
What is true, though, is that Marley is already on her way to becoming a full-time working model if that's what she chooses, since she's already joined people like Kate Moss and Margot Robbie for a recent Calvin Klein campaign.
You can check out some of the 17-year-old's photos below, and from here it'll be very interesting to see which profession she ultimately chooses — modeling, a singing career or something attached to her schooling at NYU.
