Whoa. That's a brutal way to go.

NBC News reports that a man, who is suspected of illegally trying to hunt rhinos, is dead after breaking into Kruger National Park in South Africa. The park released a statement on April 5th after finding what was left of his remains.

A search party was conducted when park rangers learned that the man was killed by an elephant. According to the park they wanted to bring closure for his family by finding the body, which was then discovered on Thursday morning.

Indications found at the scene suggested that a pride of lions had devoured the remains leaving only a human skull and a pair of pants.

Police are continuing the investigation and have arrested four other people who entered the park with the deceased man.
