Ann Arbor is Named One of the Best Cities for Single People

According to a new study from ValuePenguin.com, Ann Arbor ranked #12, out of 200, as the best city in the U.S. for single people.

Single people, that have never been married, were divided up based upon on their age and gender, based upon the U.S. Census Bureau. They also took into consideration

Entertainment & Leisure
Community and
Dating

Each category was given a ranking in each metro city. For example, in the dating category they looked at things that singles would do on a weekend afternoon date so they calculated the number of movie theaters, bars, restaurants, museums, etc in each city.

Ann Arbor came in at #4/200 for community, 101 in dating, 44 in entertainment, and 22 in cost of living.
