The death of BTY YoungN is hitting the hip-hop community and his loved ones hard. As we reported over the weekend, the New Orleans rapper was killed in his home city at around 11 p.m., where he was found dead with multiple bullet wounds at a local gas station on Saturday, April 29. Birdman, who signed YoungN recently, deleted all his Instagram pictures over the weekend after initially deleting all photos of the young rapper, and later posted a picture in memoriam of YoungN.

YoungN was signed to Birdman's Rich Gang imprint under Cash Money, making this a tough loss for the music mogul. In the photo of the 27-year-old talent, he could be seen standing on top of a table sporting a mean mug and a stack of cash in one of his hands with his middle finger pointed at the camera. "#RIP #gonebutnevaforgotten @bty_youngn," Baby captioned the picture.

Details of BTY's death are still scarce as far as lead suspects and motives, but his mother revealed she believes it was the result of jealousy because of his success as a rapper. While we wait for authorities to discover more answers, Birdman, his Rich Gang team, and fans will be working to keep YoungN's musical legacy alive.

See the pictures Birdman posted below, and after that read Twitter's reaction to his deletion.
