Unless you've traveled to far-flung places like Delaware or Las Vegas, it's likely you've never heard of the newest sandwich chain to call Grand Rapids home. Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is set to open on 28th Street near Cascade in March 2020.

The finishing touches are being put on the building that once housed a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robins in the D&W plaza and across from Noto's Old World.

The chain which was founded in Wilmington, Delaware and found a flushing home in Las Vegas has recently been expanding rapidly with its first Great Lakes region locations in Chicago and Indianapolis, but nothing in Michigan, until they set their sights on Grand Rapids.

The chain is known for oven-roasted turkey which each location throwing birds in their ovens nightly. Being born on the outskirts of Philly, you wouldn't be surprised to know that cheesesteakes are on the menu, too. Here are some sandwiches you might drool over:
