There’s been an outpouring of love and support for the people of Manchester, England who have been rocked by a terrorist attack on Monday night (May 22). According to reports, a suicide bomber detonated himself at Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester Arena. The blast left 22 people dead and injured 59 others.
Since the attack, Ariana Grande herself has expressed sorrow for what happened. “Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don't have words,” she tweeted.
Meanwhile, fellow artists like Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars and Rihanna have offered their condolences as well. Drake, who just toured the U.K. on his Boy Meets World trek, went on his Instagram account to express his sympathy for the victims of the Manchester bombing.
"We just left from touring in Europe and this was such a real fear we discussed frequently," he wrote in the caption in the photo above. "I was crushed today to hear it became a reality. My condolences to all of the families affected and we will be praying for all of Manchester. Also I am praying on peace of mind for Ariana."
CBS News have identified 23-year-old Salman Abedi as the person who blew himself up in the bombing. He was also known to British authorities prior to the attack. The Islamic terror group, ISIL, is claiming responsibility for the attack, which is the worst to hit Britain since July 2005.
We want to send our condolences to the families of the victims of the Manchester Bombing.
