Tony and Emmy nominated actor Earle Hyman has passed away at the age of 91. Best known for his role as "Grandpa Huxtable" in the 80's and 90's hit sitcom The Cosby Show Hyman had a career that spanned more than five decades.

He was also the voice of Panthera from the Thundercats series for five seasons.

Essence reports that his cause of death is unknown at this time, but we do know that he passed away at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Bakersfield, New Jersey.
