Governor Gretchen Whitmer will address the state in a press conference at 11 AM for a COVID-19 response update.

Yesterday's announcement of over 1,000 new COVID-19 cases in Michigan marked its highest spike since May.  The increase in cases is mostly due to increased testing because the percentage of positive cases is lower than the 7 day average, according to an article by MLive.com.

The press conference will focus on the state's COVID-19 response and will take place in Lansing with Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist and Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, Michigan’s chief medical executive.

Every major news outlet in the state will be streaming the event on all social media platforms as well as broadcasting it on TV so it should be easy to find.
