On the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety Facebook page, a post was made about two officers rescuing baby ducklings that had fallen into a drain located at Woodlawn and Ferry and couldn't get out.
Poor little ducklings are probably wondering, "how did we end up here and where is our mom?"
The officers took off the drain cover to have access to the trapped ducklings
The officers were able to successfully get the ducklings out of the drain using a big net.
After all the baby ducklings were rescued they waddled away with their relieved mother.

As part of training for the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety, they learn how to do winter water rescues. I would lose my breath if I had to hop in that water.
