The City Of Grand Rapids Brings Back Free Dog Training
Need your dog trained before the end of the year?
If you cannot afford a dog trainer, no worries at all!
A Grand Rapids dog training facility is starting to offer classes for you and your furry family member.
Grand Rapids Free Dog Training
A Pleasant Dog will be offering Grand Rapids residents dog training classes for free!
Jenn Gavin, the owner and head trainer at A Pleasant Dog, spoke with our media partner, Fox-17,
"We've always wanted to extend our reach to perhaps the part of our neighbors and our population that maybe aren't in the habit of hiring a dog trainer or maybe can't afford to hire a dog trainer."
With these free classes, training dogs and owners will receive information about:
- walking on a leash in crowds
- handling first-time pets and other humans meeting
- positive pet motivation
As for the behavioral classes, owners will be provided with materials to take home to utilize in their own training.
