Indian Trails is located at the corner of Kalamazoo Ave. SE and 28th St. SE.

The free outdoor movie will start around 9:30p.m. on Friday, July 15. If you're interested in going, bring blankets or chairs to sit on.

The City of GR says that bar and food service will be available until 10:30p.m.

Also important to note,"Caddyshack" is Rated R, so anyone under 17 must have a parent present to attend.

Now, if you're not familiar with the movie, here's a brief plot summary of the 1980 comedy starring Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield, and Michael O'Keefe, from Rotten Tomatoes:

Danny Noonan (Michael O'Keefe), a teen down on his luck, works as a caddy at the snob-infested Bushwood Country Club to raise money for his college education. In an attempt to gain votes for a college scholarship reserved for caddies, Noonan volunteers to caddy for a prominent and influential club member (Ted Knight). Meanwhile, Danny struggles to prepare for the high pressure Caddy Day golf tournament while absorbing New Age advice from wealthy golf guru Ty Webb (Chevy Chase).

So it's pretty perfect they're showing this movie on a golf course!

There are LOTS of opportunities to watch free movies outdoors in Grand Rapids this summer. Just recently announced, GR's Movies in the Park series is returning.

The City of East Grand Rapids is also hosting a free outdoor movie series, as is Grand Rapids Public Library, and Celebration Cinema Studio Park-- find out more here!
