This is my first time learning about Grand Rapids' Sweet Street Park! I used to live over in this area and I'm sad I didn't even know it was there. I'll have to visit this hidden gem, as it sounds like it's got great view of the sunset!

Sweet Street Park is on GR's northeast side, near Kent Country Club. Once a part of Creston High School, the playground was given to the City of Grand Rapids to become an official city park.

The City of Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation recently shared that upgrades at Sweet Street Park are now complete.

There's a new, curved bench to watch beautiful sunsets over Grand Rapids.
