Hamilton Star Leslie Odom Jr Set to Perform With Grand Rapids Symphony In March 2022
“Hamilton” star and award-winning artist Leslie Odom Jr. will be performing with the Grand Rapids Symphony this March.
The show, originally announced in March of 2020 as part of last year's cancelled symphony season, will now be at DeVos Performance Hall on March 5th.

A star of stage and screen, Leslie Odom Jr., is best known for his breakout role as Aaron Burr in the original Broadway cast of Hamilton. You’ve seen the Tony and Grammy Award-winner and 2-time Oscar nominee on TV in Smash, and at the movies in Murder on the Orient Express, Red Tails, and Harriet. Now hear Odom, with your Grand Rapids Symphony, for a one-night-only performance of Broadway, pop, and jazz hits!

Odom Jr. is best known for his breakout role as ‘Aaron Burr’ in the smash-hit Broadway musical Hamilton, for which he won the Tony Award for “Best Actor in a Musical” and a Grammy Award as a principal soloist on the original cast recording. He made his Broadway debut in RENT at the age of 17. He also starred opposite Lin-Manuel Miranda and Karen Olivo in a 2014 City Center Encores! revival of Jonathan Larson’s Tick, Tick…Boom!
