How To Report Price Gouging In Michigan
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic hygiene products like toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and cleaning products have been in high demand. Some companies have decided that now is the perfect time to increase their prices on those goods, and depending on the markup, that might just be illegal.
There are a few ways that you can report price gouging that is occuring in Michigan. The first and most formal way is to fill out the Consumer Complaint/Inquiry Form provided by the State of Michigan's Department of Attorney General.
