Michiganders know the Mitten State is awesome... and here is even more validation!
Always cool to see Michigan make these "best" lists. Although, sometimes Michigan doesn't always get the credit it deserves... like in a recent Wallethub study, our fair state only came in all the way down at No. 25??
Well, a different study has decided Michigan is tops!
Softworks has ranked all 50 states based on data like wages, cost of living, rent prices, home prices, and overall happiness gathered from sources like the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the United States Census Bureau, and surveys of residents.
After analyzing and weighing all the different factors, Softworks determined the top 10 states to live and work in the USA - and Michigan is No. 1!

As the hub of the automotive industry, Michigan has a strong economy and a low cost of living, making it an attractive option for those looking to settle down in the Midwest. Its cities, such as Detroit and Grand Rapids, are undergoing revitalization efforts and have a growing entrepreneurial spirit.
So in what category is Michigan really crushing it?
Happiness! Michigan scored an 86% in happiness.
