The magic of Disney will be here, along with a Michigan premiere, and award winning musicals and a play. It's a big season as seven shows will be at DeVos Performance Hall for the 2023-24 season.
One of the most exciting announcements is that Grand Rapids will have the Michigan premiere of Broadway’s most Tony Award-winning new shows of the season, MJ, Michael Jackson in case you didn't get it. The multi–Tony Award®-winning new musical is centered around the making of the 1992 Dangerous World Tour, begins a tour of its own.
The musical comedy revival of Funny Girl is coming, too. Featuring one of the greatest musical scores of all time, including classic songs “Don’t Rain On My Parade,” “I’m the Greatest Star,” and “People,” this bittersweet comedy is the story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, and it's the musical that introduced Barbara Streisand.
The exciting magic of Disney will again come to town with Aladdin. It's a whole new world of ALADDIN, the hit Broadway musical. There are more surprises in store because the ever-popular Les Misérables new production is coming back. And finally, drum roll please, Wicked will be back for a three-week run. It is the Broadway sensation that looks at what happened in the Land of Oz…but from a different angle.
