Grand Rapids Actor Taylor Lautner Going to be a Father

It is wonderful news for actor Taylor Lautner and his wife, Tay Lautner because they are expecting their first child.

The two announced the big news in an Instagram post featuring ultrasound images and photos of Tay Lautner’s baby bump, along with a playful caption regarding their shared name, Taylor Lautner and Taylor Lautner!

Lautner was born here, in Grand Rapids, and grew up in Hudsonville. In interviews he always describes his childhood as being bullied in school. He loved acting and always wanted to be an actor so, for whatever reason, other kids didn't like that and bullied him.

BRING ON KARATE

When he was six years old he took his first karate class and never slowed down, earning a black belt by the time he was eight, winning several junior championships.

Hopefully that is when the bulling stopped because I know I would want to cross him back then.

As his acting career began to flourish, he and his family would fly back and forth from Grand Rapids and L.A. That got a little tiring and eventually they moved to California for good.

That is when things began to take off leading eventually to being cast as Jacob Black in the Twilight Saga movies. That was the big break!

Taylor's dating life was certainly colorful. He's had romantic relationship with Lily Collins, Billie Lourd among others, and one other special performer, Taylor Swift.

But it was 2018 when he met his special person, and now his wife, nurse Taylor Dome. They married in 2022 and Taylor Dome became Taylor Lautner.
