Former rap manager James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond was found guilty for a second time of hiring a hitman to kill 50 Cent's friend, reports the New York Post.

On Tuesday evening (Nov. 28), a Manhattan federal jury convicted Rosemond on four counts of murder-for-hire, each count carries a life sentence. Rosemond, the founder of talent management company Czar Entertainment, was already serving two life sentences stemming from separate drug and gun convictions, so a not-guilty verdict wouldn’t have freed him from life in prison.

According to prosecutors, Rosemond allegedly coordinated a 2009 murder-for-hire plot against G-Unit associate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher in retaliation for him roughing up his then 14-year-old son as part of an ongoing feud between 50 and The Game, which Rosemond represented. Rosemond believes 50 Cent is involved in the prosecutors’ campaign of charging him for crimes for which he claims he didn’t commit.

During the trial, the government called on numerous witnesses to testify, including Brian “Slim” McCleod, who told the jury that he helped lure Fletcher to an isolated part of the Bronx to be killed.

This was Rosemond’s third go-around with this case. The first trial ended in a hung jury and the second resulted in a conviction, but a new trial was ordered by a federal appeals court.

“We’re determined to appeal,” Rosemond's attorney, David Touger, told NYPost after the verdict was announced.
