Get ready! A whole lot of cuteness is coming to Grand Rapids.

Wood TV 8 reports that John Ball Zoo will be welcoming its first red panda in August.

The red panda exhibit is being built now and is expected to be finished in early August. After that, Wyatt, a 5-year-old red panda coming from the Chattanooga Zoo in Tennessee, will be moving in.

The Zoo posted to Facebook that guests will be able to view Wyatt mid-August.

Red pandas are an endangered species, victims of deforestation. There are less than with 10,000 left in the wild. They are part of the Species Survival Plan, a breeding program in accredited zoos.
