Several days after Drake announced that he’s working on a new album, a song snippet popped up on Twitter featuring him rapping over a Lauryn Hill sample.

The song in question features a sample of Ms. Hill's beloved song "Ex-Factor." On it, Drizzy's raps, “You're showin' off, but it’s alright / You're showin' off, but it’s alright and it’s a short life."

Whether Lauryn Hill added new vocals on the song has yet to be revealed, but this is an interesting collaboration.

Drake has expressed admiration for L-Boogie in the past. Back in 2014, Drake sampled Ms. Hill's "Doo-Wop (That Thing)" for his streaming track, "Draft Day." The OVO leader then followed that up by bringing her out on stage at his OVO Fest in Toronto.

After hearing the snippet, fans were excited about the possibility that a Drake and Lauryn Hill collaborative song could come out very soon.

"Lauryn Hill currently working with Drake? Yo I’m livingggg," tweeted one excited fan, while other person wrote, "Lauryn Hill is such a gem."
