How To Get Your Child A Free Helmet This Weekend In Grand Rapids
One of my proudest moments as a kid was taking off my training wheels and riding my bike without the help of mom and dad.
Like many kids, I got a little too confident and proceeded to flip over my handlebars. Thankfully I had a helmet that protected me from any serious injury to my head. There is an event in Grand Rapids this weekend that wants to help put Lids On Kids.
WHAT IS LIDS FOR KIDS?
Lids For Kids is a FREE bike helmet giveaway and bike safety event happening across Michigan. Since it began in 2003, Lids for Kids has distributed more than 12,000 bicycle helmets to children in Michigan.
WHAT IS THERE TO DO AT LIDS FOR KIDS?
When you bring your child to Lids for Kids, they’ll be fitted appropriately by trained professionals and volunteers. They can also register for a chance to win a new bicycle, meet local law enforcement officers and firefighters, tour a fire engine, and much more.
