New Recall Affecting Michigan Meijer Cookie Lovers
It is a tough day to love Meijer cookies.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Midwest retailer, Meijer, and Too Good Gourmet are voluntarily recalling thousands of their store brand, Dunking Cookies Chocolate Chip.
Why is this recall happening?
According to the announcement, it was rediscovered that the cookies contained milk, which was not listed on the product's original label.
Meijer shared that the mislabeling was a mistake. Thankfully, at the publication time, no complaints or claims of illness have been reported.

The recalled cookies were sold in a 10-ounce, tall, clear container with a blue and white label. UPC: 713733712972.
The cookies were sold in Meijer stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Wisconsin.
