Michigan Man With Viral Drivers License Drama
Corey Harris is the man who went viral because of his Zoom court hearing while driving with a suspended license on May 15th.
In the viral video of the hearing, Washtenaw County Judge Cedric Simpson asked Harris if he was driving during the hearing. Immediately, you can see Corey Harris pulling into a parking spot while saying "one second."
There has been an entire saga about this man.
However, it only gets even crazier from here.
What Has Happened Now?
Judge Simpson shared these details during the pre-trial hearing on Wednesday. It was also confirmed that he never paid his fees the day before, so his clearance was never sent to the Secretary of State.
To add insult to injury, Harris claimed that his driving record was still 'suspended' and placed blame on the Sagniaw Friend of the Court.
Why is the Saginaw Friend of the Court responsible? Well, Harris stated that the suspension was not being lifted in a child support case even though the judge reissued the order in 2022.
Judge Simpson ultimately stated that Corey Harris was the only person responsible for his actions.
With everything that has already been made public, it has now been reported that Corey Harris doesn't even have a valid driver's license in the state of Michigan!
To end off, Harris' attorney said that her client would try to get a valid driver's license. She also said that this should be a lesson for everyone to handle things before they escalate.
What do you think will happen with this trial?
