If you like a taste of the dark side then you might be into the Anatomy of Death Museum located right here in Michigan.

According to MLive, a new museum has opened but its not like any other museum you have been to before, if features things that are related to death only.

If you are thinking of making the trip the Anatomy of Death Museum is located at 292 Cass Ave in Mt. Clemens Michigan. There is a bonus if you like antiquing because the museum also includes the Laid To Rest Antiques & Oddities store.

The owner of the museum, Todd LaRusa said, "It's educational. You can be in your 40s and 50s and have traveled the world and never seen things that are in here before."

When you first walk in to the building just before the tour begins, you can actually pose for a picture on an antique embalming table.

You enter the museum by walking through two body bags that are hanging in the doorway.

You will see items like a coffin from 1865, portable embalming table, Naga headhunters trophy skull, 1920s child embalming table and so much more.

The museum owner LaRusa says he owns way more pieces that are not displayed and will expand the building in time.

LaRusa says only a fraction of what he owns is in this museum. He plans to expand.

The museum is open Tuesday - Sunday from Noon to 8:00 p.m. Admission is $7 per person and $4 for kids 16 and under. If you purchase by the group the admission is $6 each for 4 or more or $5 each for 7 or more. You can even get a personal guided tour that is an extra $6.

LaRusa says he plans to host horror movie nights, art shows and photo shoots here. People can rent props for movies and related things. People can also get married at the museum.

"It's $250 for one hour. You can use any props you want. You don't even have to bring a best man. You can use one of the skeletons for that."

While at the museum, check out the Laid to Rest Antiques and Oddities shop.
