What Is Recalled At Whole Foods?

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that there is a recall of a ready-made pizza due to an undeclared allergen.

Located in Wheeling, Illinois, Richelieu Foods Inc., has voluntarily recalled one of its vegan pizzas after traces of milk were found.

If you have a milk allergy, you could be risking your life if you eat this pizza.

The pizza that has been recalled is the 365 Whole Foods Market Vegan Ultimate Veggie Thin Crust Pizza.

According to the FDA,

"The potentially affected product is a 13.7 oz pizza packaged in a carton printed with ‘Best by Date of: 6/15/2024 printed on the side of the carton opposite the tear strip. This recall involves no more than 144 individual pizzas that inadvertently entered the supply chain. "

All other Whole Foods 365 pizzas are properly labeled, and no other products are included.

What Should You Do?

If you have purchased the pizza, the FDA is asking you not to eat it and throw it away or return it immediately for a full refund.
