West Michigan Parks

There are hundreds of parks in the West Michigan area so finding places for the kids to play, go for a walk, enjoy the outdoors, and take a bike ride are virtually endless.

Not everyone lives near a park so often non-residents to a particular area have to travel to have access to a park. Some parks offer more than others and that can also attract parents to travel a little bit to take their kids to a park that has more to offer.

Maplewood Park in Jenison

According to GRKids.com Maplewood Park is located at 8000 12th Avenue in Jenison. Maplewood Park offers families who are residents of Georgetown Township a splash pad, playground, and a fishing pond.

Maplewood Park offers a lot to its community with an athletic field, basketball court, places to grill out, lake, pavilion, picnic tables, restrooms, tennis court, volleyball, and walking track.
