Less than 12 hours after its release and Rick RossRather You Than Me album is already causing a stir. First, it was "Idols Become Rivals," a scathing diss track aimed at Cash Money co-founder Birdman's allegedly nefarious business dealings. Now, it's a passing reference to Nicki Minaj, the ex-girlfriend of Ross' MMG running mate Meek Mill.

On "Apple of My Eye," the intro to his new album, Ross raps, "I told Meek I wouldn't trust Nicki, instead of beefing with your dog you just give him some distance." You can listen to a snippet of the new track below.

There's been a lot of speculation about the role Nicki played in Meek's beef with Drake, with Beanie Sigel claiming she was the reason it started.

“So what’s the real reason why [Meek] was mad at Drake?” asked Beans last year. “In my point of view? You was laying in the bed one night, you rolled over and you looked at her and you asked her, ‘You fuck that nigga?’ And she ain’t answer you in the way you wanted to.”
