Spanish Restaurant and Craft Cocktail Lounge Opening in Holland

There soon will be another option for dinner and drinks along the Lakeshore.

Lucas Grill, owner of the Holland-based restaurant group 1983 Restaurants, is opening a Spanish Restaurant, Poquito, at 90 W. 8th St., on Nov. 4. Next door, Obstacle No. 1, an intimate cocktail lounge will serve wine, spirits and classic and original craft cocktails, GRBJ reports.

According to Grand Rapids Magazine Poquito will specialize in tapas (small plates to share) and "Spanish-influenced entrees, such as paella, which is a rice-based dish typically featuring chorizo, chicken and various seafoods in a tomato and paprika sauce."

Both the restaurant and lounge will be open Monday through Saturday 4-11 p.m., with the kitchen closing at 10p.m.

Lucas Grill, through 1983 Restaurants, also owns Public in Zeeland and Seventy-Six in Holland.
