Struggling with Social Distancing? Adopt a Pet from Humane Society of West MI
We're going through a tough time and having to be locked indoors can drive anyone crazy so having a friend by your side can be just what you need to keep your sanity. Now would be the perfect time to adopt a pet from the Humane Society of West Michigan.
Due to COVID-19, the Humane Society is only open for adoptions and emergency admissions. With that said, if you're interested in a pet you can contact the HMSWM by e-mailing them at adoptions@hswestmi.org to schedule an appointment.
During this difficult time, there will also be an adoption special at the Humane Society of West Michigan to encourage our community to adopt and prevent overcrowding in the shelter. All adult dogs are $50 and adult cats are fee waived.
One of the available pets is 1-year-old Spot. He's 60 lbs of love that has been searching for the right home since January. He’s a bit shy at first, but once he knows he can trust you all of his goofiness comes out. Spot has become a staff favorite!
All other events, programs, and obedience classes are cancelled until further notice.
