‘The Wizard of Oz’ is Back in Theaters for Only a Few Days in West MI
The classic film that the majority of us grew up loving is back in select U.S. theaters for three days for its 80th anniversary. Can you believe that?! 80 years!
TCM & Fathom Events are hosting the anniversary special on Sunday, January 27th, Tuesday the 29th and Wednesday the 30th. The following West Michigan theaters will be showing it on these days:
Celebration Cinema Rivertown - Grandville (27, 29 & 30)
Celebration Cinema North - Grand Rapids (27th ONLY)
Cinema Carousel 16 - Norton Shores (27th ONLY)
Each theater has a 2P and 7P showing time. However, the Grandville location is only doing a 7p show on the 29th and 30th.
According to the event page, there will also be exclusive insight into the film. Whether it's your 100th time seeing it or you plan on showing it to your kids for the first time, you're guaranteed a journey going down the yellow brick road :)
