Thousands Without Power in West Michigan Sunday
The first day of December brought with it snow, ice, and power outages across West Michigan.
According to Consumers Energy, as of noon on Sunday, more than 40,000 are without power across the state.
Wood TV 8 reports that Michigan has more power outages today than any other state.
The outage includes Woodland Mall on 28th Street. Anchor stores have power and are open, the rest of the mall remains closed on Sunday.
According to the Consumers Energy Map power should be restored to most of West Michigan by Sunday night.
