The 2016 NFL season is officially over, the New England Patriots defeating the Atlanta Falcons in overtime in Super Bowl 51 Sunday night (Feb. 5), but Wale and Lil Wayne are still advancing the rock, dropping the video for their collab "Running Back" today. The track first premiered in mid-January, with footage from the video shoot hitting the web about a month prior.

As previewed in that behind-the-scenes clip, the video plays with color and shadow, the backdrop featuring a number of bright hues and dimensional tricks. Directed by ACRS, the video further cements what is the first collaboration between the two rappers, who preformed the song on ESPN’s First Take last month. Wayne remixed Wale’s “Nike Boots” several years back, but the two had never before worked in a more official capacity.

“Running Back” is slated to appear on Wale's upcoming album, S.H.I.N.E. (Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy). The DMV rapper dropped a video last week as well for "Groundhog Day," his response to J. Cole's "False Prophets" which seemed to address Wale with its second verse. S.H.I.N.E. is scheduled to drop some time this year, "Running Back" and "My PYT" confirmed tracks on it.
