There are several roads that will be closing for construction in Grand Rapids and West Michigan, get the low down so you don't get slowed down! According to Fox 17, these are some of the upcoming road closures you should be aware of!
US-131 in Grand Rapids
The left lane will be closed northbound at Leonard Street through Sept. 13.
Leonard Street in Grand Rapids
Repaving will cause a lane closures on Leonard Street between US-131 and Division Avenue. The work will happen at night until October 31.
Division Avenue in Grand Rapids
Repaving will cause a lane closures on Division Avenue between I-196 and Leonard Street. The work will happen at night until October 31.
Alger Street in Grand Rapids
Alger Street will be closed west of Plymouth Avenue to allow for a bridge repair over the CSX railroad tracks. The work will go on till November 30.
10 Mile in Sparta
Now through September 30, 10 Mile closed between M-37 and Alpine Avenue.
Diamond Avenue in Grand Rapids
Northbound Diamond Avenue will be closed for repaving between Michigan Street and Leonard Street, but Southbound Diamond Avenue will remain open.
Morse Lake Avenue over I-96
Morse Lake Avenue will be closed over I-96 for bridge work until October 31. Alden Nash Avenue is an alternate route.
