You probably know that Maynard James Keenan is from Mason County, but did you know he fronted a band long before Puscifer and Tool? A band that performed on Grand Rapids Public Access TV?

It was 1987 when Keenan was in a band called Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty. Back then, Grand Rapids cable public access TV was the wild west of broadcasting. Anything they could find to put in front of the cameras was fair game, and Keenan's band took advantage of that idea to get some air time for C.A.D.
