West Michigan Teen Punches Officer, Leads Police On Chase

A man in West Michigan punched an officer and led police on a chase!

A 19-year-old man was stopped by a state trooper near East Beltline and Cascade Road. He allegedly became aggressive with the officer, punching and scraping the troopers face. The suspect then fled in his vehicle and led police on a 20-minute chase through Kent County Wednesday morning, according to WOOD. He had a 16-year-old girl in the vehicle with him during the chase. He was charged with assault, stealing a vehicle and a traffic offense.
