Well, that’s awkward.

The City of Doral, Florida tweeted out on Thursday a story that pointed out their school crossing was misspelled on the roadway.

Apparently, Instead of spelling SCHOOL, construction crews spelled out:

SCOHOL

Which I mean, they got all the letters in there… but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, right?

Thursday afternoon the city tweeted out:

#UPDATE- This SCHOOL zone striping was handled by the developer's contractor. They have been notified and are working expeditiously to correct. Thank you to all who brought this very important matter to our attention.

The original story on Local10.com updated to say that the school crossing was spelled correctly by Thursday evening.
