Chris Brown still intends to fight Soulja Boy. The singer insisted that he and Soulja Boy are going to square off in the ring in a video posted on Thursday (Feb. 2).

“When I pull up on ya, it’s going down,” Brown said. “We’re going to set this fight up and do all that, but niggas gon’ always slick talk. And they know, when I’m in the same room, they chest deflating than a motherfucker. Boy, stop putting that superhero costume on, 'fore we torture you."

Soulja Boy responded to the video with his own post on Instagram. The Atlanta rapper claimed he's been waiting on Brown to sign a contract for the fight.

"I signed my contract for the boxing match a motherfucking week ago,” he said. “We waiting on Chris Brown so we can announce the motherfucking fight… What you waiting on? Don’t get scared now.”

It is still not clear when or where the fight will happen, but reports have claimed it may go down in Dubai. One thing that is known is Soulja Boy has new trainer - Evander Holyfield.

Wack 100, who has been acting as the promoter for the fight, got in touch with Holyfield and linked him up with Soulja Boy. Mike Tyson already joined the corner of Brown, making for an odd new version of the famous Tyson vs. Holyfield matchup. In 1997, Tyson bit off part of Holyfield's ear in one of the most infamous boxing matches in history.
