Construction Along Southbound 131 Near Rockford Starts Monday
Construction season is definitely here. Last week MDOT closed down eastbound I-96 from Alpine Ave to Plainfield Ave disrupting the daily commute for quite a few west Michiganders.
Well now more construction is being announced, but this time along US131 near Rockford.
According to FOX17, Starting Monday at 6 am, MDOT will be shutting down a couple of ramps along southbound 131. The on-ramp from 14 Mile Road to southbound 131 will be closed to drivers and they'll also be shutting down the off-ramp to 10 Mile Road.
Fox17 says MDOT plans to have the ramps closed until the middle of July.
