Driver Hits Two Children With Car in Grand Rapids

Around 5 p.m. Tuesday, two children were hit be a vehicle near the intersection of Division Avenue and Shelby Street in Grand Rapids.

According to WOOD TV, police say the children were between the ages of 7 and 12 and were taken to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

WOOD-TV also reports that the driver is cooperating and it currently is unclear what led up to the incident. The case remains under investigation.
