What Well-Known Retailer Filed For Bankruptcy?
AP News says Express Inc. has officially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
The company, based in Columbus, Ohio, is set on selling the majority of its stores.
Express Inc. operates Express, Express factory outlets, Bonobos, and UpWest stores across the country.
It is also planning to shutter a handful of the Express outlets. In the announcement, the company shared that it plans to close 95 of its retail sites and all 10 of its UpWest stores.
This will be an extremely quick transition!
Starting today, these closures are set to happen across more than 30 states and Washington, D.C.
All of its online websites will continue to accept orders. Plus, all brands will fulfill orders, and returns, and redeem gifts and store credits.
