GR Transportation Joins In On April Fools Fun With New River Tube System Announcement

Clearly, GR Transportation wanted to get into the fun too!

GR Transportation & The New River Tube System Announcement

Max, the person who runs Grand Rapids Transportation's social media accounts, is having a great time with their job!

They are 'in charge' of creating new transit systems in the city of Grand Rapids.

Max believes that their first initiative is needed: the River Ride Tube System.

"First up is the River Ride Tube System! This is a fully pressurized water slide/tube system that takes folks all over Grand Rapids in style. What better way to cool off during the hot February weather? The only small hiccup currently is we have not figured out how to provide oxygen during travel, so be sure to hold your breath when “tubing”!"

Max did not stop there with their ideas. They continued by also pitching the Grand Canals.

"Second is the Grand Canals. This plan would have us fill all north and south running roads with water. This will make traveling around the City a smooth and nautical adventure. It fits in great with our river identity, though will require many residents to purchase or possibly build boats. We are not quite sure how it will work in the winter, but we have made an agreement with local pirates, and we don’t anticipate any issues with residents or visitors being forced to walk the plank."

Just when you think Max is done, they are not finished quite yet. This is their favorite initiative: the Roundabout Air Ride!

"Finally, we have my personal favorite, the Roundabout Air Ride! Late for an important meeting? Just find a local roundabout and be propelled into the air by a trampoline and an Air Jet Roundabout Tornado propulsion system. We strongly suggest bringing a parachute, as landing is a bit of a mess at this time. We do thank our volunteers greatly for their efforts in helping us work out the kinks in this system."
